Jose Antonio Ortega Gilabert

Jose Antonio Ortega Gilabert holds a degree in English Studies from the University of Alicante. He graduated in Linguistic Studies by taking a Master’s degree in Language Science and Hispanic Linguistics at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia. He is currently working on his doctoral thesis in Philosophy and Arts and specialises in Linguistic Studies at the University of Alicante, under the supervision of Dr. Larissa Timofeeva Timofeev. Apart from that, and as part of his doctoral thesis, he is participating as a Predoctoral researcher in training in a project from the GRIALE research group and the Instituto Interuniversitario de Lenguas Modernas Aplicadas (IULMA): PROMETEO/2021/079 “Etiquetaje pragmático para un observatorio de la identidad de mujeres y hombres a través del humor. La plataforma OBSERVAHUMOR.COM” (OBSERVAHUMOR.COM).
