Larissa Timofeeva Timofeev

Larissa Timofeeva Timofeev is an Associate Professor of Linguistics at the Department of Spanish Philology, General Linguistics and Theory of Literature at the University of Alicante. Her research focuses on phraseology, pragmatics, irony and humour, and language acquisition, as well as linguistics applied to language learning. One of her most outstanding works is the edition of the monographs Metapragmática del humour infantil (CLAC 70, 5-19), and Humour in Spanish Context (2021), special issue of Spanish in Context, 18(1). She is a member of the GRIALE research group, the IUIEG (Instituto Universitario de Investigación de Estudios de Género) and ACQUA (Adquisición y Enseñanza de Segundas Lenguas y Lenguas Extranjeras de la Universidad de Alicante). In addition, she participated in the FRASYTRAM group until 2008. Several of her articles have been published in journals such as Onomázein, RLA, CLAC, Terminología y Español en Contexto. She headed the project “Formación de la conciencia figurativa en educación primaria: humor y fraseología” (FIGURKID) FFI2016-76047-P (AEI / FEDER, UE) and is currently participating in the project “Etiquetaje pragmático para un observatorio de la identidad de mujeres y hombres a través del humor. La plataforma OBSERVAHUMOR.COM” (OBSERVAHUMOR.COM) PROMETEO/2021/079, from the GRIALE research group.
