Doctorate in the area of General Linguistics
José Antonio Ortega Gilabert is studying for a doctorate in the Philosophy and Arts programme: Linguistic Studies at the University of Alicante. A graduate in English Studies at the University of Alicante, he studied a Master´s in the Science of Hispanic Language and Linguistics, and received a mention in Language and Communication (UNED). His research focuses on the origin of language and writing, sociolinguistics and the humorous use of phraseology units.
