PhD Student
Marta Andrés Costa is a PhD student in the Philosophy and Arts doctoral program at the University of Alicante. She is also a graduate in English Studies from the University of Valencia. After that, she completed the master’s degree in Spanish and English as Second/Foreign Languages, as well as the Master’s in Academic Staff of Secondary Education and High School, Vocational Training and Language Teaching at the University of Alicante.
She is currently a research assistant at GRIALE while working on her doctoral thesis under the supervision of Leonor Ruiz Gurillo and G. Angela Mura, analysing different forms of humor in a corpus of humorous essays produced by American university learners of Spanish.
