Anastasia Khaylina is studying for a doctorate in the Philosophy and Arts doctorate programme: Linguistic Studies at the University of Alicante. She graduated in English Studies and completed a Master’s degree in English and Spanish for Specific Purposes at the University of Alicante. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis on verbal humor in Spanish under the supervision of Mª Belén Alvarado Ortega. Moreover, she is collaborating as a Predoctoral Researcher in training in the GRIALE group project entitled PROMETEO/2021/079 “Pragmatic labelling for an observatory of the identity of women and men through humour. The OBSERVAHUMOR.COM platform” of the Interuniversity Institute for Applied Modern Languages (IULMA) of the Valencian Community.
