Gloria Uclés is a Spanish Lecturer at the University of Alicante. She completed her PhD in Advanced Hispanic Studies at the University of Valencia and was awarded an Extraordinary Doctorate Award for her dissertation. As a postdoctoral researcher, she has worked at the University of Helsinki. Her main lines of research are pragmatics, corpus linguistics and conversation analysis. She has published papers in journals such as Journal of Pragmatics, Signos, Corpus Pragmatics or Rilce.
