Susana Rodríguez Rosique is full professor of Spanish Language at the Department of Spanish Philology, General Linguistics and Theory of Literature at the University of Alicante. Her research focuses on the way in which pragmatics interact on different levels of linguistic analysis: the links between pragmatics and grammar, or between pragmatics, lexical semantics and syntax, conditionality and concession, or the special points of ironic meaning and its role in different types of speech, to mention some of the topics she has covered. She is a member of GRIALE and LEXIS (Lexis and syntax). Moreover, she has been published in journals such as Journal of Pragmatics, CLAC, EHumanista and RILI.
